Brookfield Properties Headquarters
Located on Carrington Street in Sydney’s CBD, Brookfield Properties' Australian Headquarters features a strong Modernist influence and makes the most of its generous internal space. Designed by Bates Smart and built by Multiplex Construction, the fit-out is defined by a clean, minimal palette of white, steel, and our dark grey marble, Lloret.
This stone, with its distinctive white veining running across a deep grey background, brings a bold but refined presence to the interiors.
It’s used as a feature wall in the conference room, where its natural pattern creates a strong focal point, and also forms the bench, adding weight and a sense of permanence to the space.
Subtle touches of deep ochre are used throughout to add warmth and contrast, lifting the otherwise restrained colour scheme without overwhelming it.
The interior has a gallery-like quality, open, airy, and quietly expressive. Light moves easily through the space, highlighting curved forms and leading the eye toward the dramatic staircase that connects the building’s multiple levels.
Each floor offers a new view or detail, reinforcing the thoughtful balance of material, scale, and structure.
