Ebley House in Bondi embraces a bold design direction, led by strong stone surfaces and character-rich tile choices. Each room is anchored by clear material intent, producing interiors that are visually distinctive while remaining refined and considered.

A Cohesive Material Framework

The kitchen pairs timeless natural stone with clean, modern detailing. Verde Aosta marble is used for the benchtops, splashback, and custom breakfast bar, introducing strong veining and rich green tones, setting a confident foundation for the overall palette.

The curved breakfast bench highlights the marble’s patterning and forms a practical focal point for the room. A fluted timber base adds structure and visual rhythm while aligning with the broader joinery detailing.

Underfoot, custom-produced Bianco Carrara tiles bring a softer, more tactile surface. Their tumbled finish and subtle variation help balance the intensity of the marble above, grounding the space in a consistent and durable material layer.

A Practical, Neutral Base

The main bathroom is defined by a calm, restrained palette. Walls are clad in Zellij White, chosen for their gentle surface variation and ability to reflect light without creating distraction.

The floor is finished in Tundra Pearl, offering a consistent, cool-toned surface that complements the wall tile while maintaining durability and slip resistance.

Simple brass fixtures and clean-lined joinery keep the focus on material quality and proportion. The result is a bathroom that feels balanced and functional.

Consistency with Defined Feature

Bathroom Two continues the home’s overarching palette, again using Zellij White tiles on the walls and Tundra Pearl on the floor for connection and continuity.

The custom Brembana marble vanity introduces a stronger visual statement. Its red and grey veining provides contrast while remaining aligned with the project’s focus on natural stone and simple forms.

In the shower recess, Zellij Brick Blue Gloss tiles provide a deliberate injection of colour. Their vertical format and glossy finish define the zone clearly without disrupting the simplicity of the adjoining spaces. Brass fixtures complete the palette with a consistent, warm accent.
